  • Group of people gathered on a soccer field for a meeting or training session, with mountains and buildings in the background.

    Albania - £12

This Christmas, football is opening doors for the Gospel in one of Tirana’s poorest neighbourhoods. At the Friends for Life Sports Centre, operated by the Interconfessional Bible Society of Albania, children and teenagers gather three times a week to train, play, and hear the story of Jesus.

Through the ‘Bible Match’ project, coaches share skills, Christian values, and Bible stories with young people aged 5-17, many from Muslim backgrounds who would never step inside a church.

Year-round football training, summer camps, and two major tournaments – the Easter Cup and the Christmas Cup – bring together 16 mixed teams of believers and friends who don’t yet know Jesus. Before every match, a Bible story is told and its meaning explained, offering hope and truth to players and watching parents alike.

As we celebrate the birth of Immanuel, God with us, you can help these young people discover His love, find safe community, and carry the light of Christ into their homes and friendships.

£12 could provide 2 children with Bibles after the Christmas Cup tournament.

  • Group of children and adults sitting at a long outdoor table with bowls of food, enjoying a meal outdoors in a rural area with trees and mountains in the background.

    Peru - £23

Every year at Christmas many of us gather around tables overflowing with food and joy. But high in the Andes, the Amazon rainforest, and the crowded districts of Lima, thousands of children wake up to empty plates and aching stomachs.

Through the ‘Bread of Life’ project, local churches prepare nutritious breakfasts and Bible lessons for children aged 4-13 who live in deep poverty and face chronic malnutrition. After a warm meal, the children sing, pray, and hear the life-changing story of Jesus in their own language. Each child receives their own Bible too, bringing light and hope into their family home.

This year, as you enjoy your own festive feast, please help a child in Peru taste both nourishing physical food, and the true Bread of Life – Jesus.

£23 could provide one child with daily breakfasts for one academic year.

  • A group of women and one man standing outdoors under palm trees; some women are sitting on a wooden bench, appearing to be praying or meditating while a woman in a plaid shirt stands, possibly leading or instructing them.

    The Philippines - £35

At Christmas, we often gather to hear the familiar story of Jesus’ birth in Carol services and Nativity plays. Across the Philippines, thousands long to hear God’s Word in the same life-giving way – many for the very first time.

Through Bible Learning Groups, believers and seekers meet each week to listen to the Bible in their own language using solar-powered audio players, while following along with their own printed Bibles. Using the simple Passage – Play – Pause – Participate method, people hear, read, and discuss Scripture together, even in remote islands and mountain villages. For many who cannot read, these groups provide their first real opportunity to encounter the Bible and grow in faith.

As you hear and rejoice in the Good News this season, please help more Filipinos hear the story of Jesus – the Word made flesh – spoken in the language of their hearts.

£35 could provide a Bible and an Audio Proclaimer for someone who has never owned their own copy of Scripture.

  • Firefighters and a civilian stand in front of a collapsed building with damaged and destroyed apartments, debris, and rubble from a recent fire or explosion.

    Ukraine - £52

As we gather around candle-lit tables and in warm living rooms, families in Ukraine are, once again, facing a very different winter. Explosions shake their nights, cities lie in ruins, and millions are displaced or grieving. Yet in bomb shelters, frontline trenches, and makeshift homes, the light of Christ is still shining.

The Ukrainian Bible Society is responding to an unprecedented hunger for God’s Word. Pastors, chaplains, and volunteers are asking daily for Bibles to bring comfort to soldiers, refugees, children, and the elderly. A single copy is often shared among a family or an entire shelter, offering the promise of John 1:5, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

This season as you celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace, help bring His Word to those enduring the horrors of war.

£52 could provide 10 Bibles for 10 Ukrainians, bringing light in the darkness.

  • A young boy wearing a black beanie and a black jacket is reading a colorful book with Arabic text on the cover.

    Jordan - £74

Many of us can reach for a Bible at any moment to read the incredible story of Jesus’ birth. In Jordan, where Christians make up only about 2% of the population, that simple privilege is rare. Most people have never owned a Bible or even held one in their hands.

The Bible Society of Jordan is changing that. Through a welcoming bookshop, vibrant social media outreach, and stands at public book fairs, they offer Scriptures in Arabic, English, and many other languages – meeting refugees, families, and seekers right where they are. Every conversation, every Bible, every booklet is a quiet invitation to discover the hope and peace Christ brings.

This Christmas as you celebrate the birth of the Word made flesh, share that same life-giving story with people across Jordan.

£74 could provide Bibles for 10 Jordanians who have never held God’s Word.

  • A young girl with braided hair and rainbow-colored tank top sitting outdoors with other children and an adult woman, participating in an outdoor activity, with a symbol and text overlay indicating "Two Gifts in One."

    Bible Lands - £120

At Christmas we remember a story rooted in the Middle East and a humble stable where the Word became flesh. Today, across those same Bible Lands, people still long to hear that story of hope, often in places where Scripture is scarce and public faith is difficult. Many have never held a Bible or been able to explore its message of hope, love, and peace.

Through magazines, workshops, camps, festivals, and Bible-based activities, local Bible Societies are helping women to find their voice, strengthen their families, and minister to their communities. Children and young people are also discovering faith, joy, and resilience, whilst leaders are trained to share God’s Word with others. Every Bible, every event, every magazine is a chance for lives to be transformed.

As you celebrate the birth of our Saviour, share that same story of hope and love with women, children, and young people in the lands that witnessed it first.

£120 could cover the cost for 1 woman to attend a workshop AND provide Bible engagement resources for a child or young person to go deeper into Scripture.
