At Bible Society NI, we want everyone in Northern Ireland to have access to a Bible.
That’s why in 2021 we launched our Bibles for Babies programme.

Through this programme we want to provide a FREE Toddler Bible to every baby born in 2025, and then a Children’s Bible when they turn 5. We will also send them a birthday card on their 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th birthdays. Registration for babies born in 2025 will open in November.

We are passionate about families reading God’s Word together and hope that this will encourage families to read to their young ones from the very beginning of their lives. We want to bless the children born in 2025, no matter what their background.

Babies registered will receive a ‘5-Minute Bible Stories’ Bible, suitable for a toddler. Then, on their 5th birthday, we will send a Children’s Bible more age appropriate for a child in primary school as they start to develop their own habit of reading the Bible.

In 2024, we were blessed to have over 1,200 babies registered for this programme. Registration for babies born in 2024 is now closed, but if you have already registered your child, keep an eye out for their present arriving for their first birthday!

Registrations for babies born in 2025 will be open 1st November 2025 – 31st January 2026.
